93rd Dairy Products Evaluation Contest, Results

South Dakota State University sealed its eighth consecutive team title at the 93rd Dairy Products Evaluation Contest, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, just west of Chicago, although its string of eight consecutive individual titles was broken by Stephanie Brooks, representing the University of Tennessee.

91st Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest in Springfield, Missouri

Familiar was the team at the top. South Dakota State University once again finished first in the All Products category, led by Cassandra Hulstein who took overall individual honors. South Dakota’s victory was a solid one as teammates Austin Asche and Lee Alexander placed third and fourth respectively in the Individual All Products category.

Announcing the 91st Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest

The management of the Collegiate Dairy Products Contest is pleased to announce that this year's contest will be held on November 2 & 3 at Springfield, Missouri. The industry host of the contest is DairiConcepts Inc. This unique two day event will bring the brightest and best dairy food students from around the country for a competition testing the quality of their sensory skills, a chance to network with industry personnel and some wonderful Ozark hospitality.

The DairiConcepts staff will be responsible for providing the facilities and hospitality to host this major event. Each year an industry partner is selected for the honor of hosting this major competition. The blending of the most knowledgeable college students with real industry challenges makes for an excellent learning experience.

90th Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest Results

For the 90th year the Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest tested the skill of students from university dairy programs across North America. This year's contest was hosted at the Kraft Foods Research Facility in Glenview, Illinois. Eleven colleges entered thirty three undergraduates and five schools entered seven graduate students for this unique competition.
